Terry Bradley has been married to his best friend Rowena for nearly 27 years. They pastor Journey church in Te Kuiti which is in the Waikato region; they have five children and three grand-children, with another grand-child on the way.
Terry was ordained in 1999 and has experience from serving in the New Zealand Army, Grocery Manager of a New World Supermarket, being a youth and assistant pastor, and finally the senior minister for nearly the last 15 years. His church has enjoyed tremendous favour in their local community through the many projects that they have carried out, and he was voted as Waitomo Citizen of the year in 2014.
He has a Master’s degree in Christian studies, which has deepened his theological background, and has also experienced the highs and lows of pastoral life, which has helped to develop his practical style of leadership. His empathy for those who face challenges is fuelled by the knowledge that God is with us, and He is ‘more than able.’
By this October he will have served for four years on the current Executive being responsible for the Waikato and Northland Regions working with the Regional Overseers, and is the Executive representative for the Korean ethnic churches and for Chaplaincy NZ. Terry has thoroughly enjoyed the growing roles that have been opened up to him under the leadership of Ps Iliafi Esera, and is looking forward to helping strengthen the Movement through the season ahead!
