“David & Ruth T”
Asia South East Asia
“David” and “Ruth” signed up for a church missions trip that changed their lives, giving them a passion for missions. In 2000 they became the pastors at the Hawera Assembly of God church and served there for 12 years. During that time they attended a missions conference where they heard that even though the Western World has had access to the gospel for about 2000 years, there were still places in the world that had yet to hear the Good News.
They led their church in adopting a least reached people group, called the Isan. At the same time God was working in their hearts about going to this area themselves as missionaries. In 2012 they resigned as pastors and with their four children they settled in South East Asia and are now serving in a closed country.
The family now live in South East Asia.
Their current ministry includes:
- training local Christians and churches in evangelism
